Joyce Chen's expertise is labor and employment laws. In addition to advising corporate clients on routine labor matters, she also assists in handling emergency or major labor incidents. In recent years, along with the increasing importance being attached to corporate social responsibility and sustainability, she has also become well-versed in handling on-site inspections for her clients regarding suppliers' labor conditions, occupational safety and health, human rights protection and other issues of international concern. From 2007 to 2016, Joyce Chen was a lecturer for courses on employment law and labor relations at Soochow University, and since 2020, she has served as a mediator and conciliator for industrial disputes at the Taipei City Government, as well as a labor conciliator at the Taipei District Court and the New Taipei District Court, specializing in explaining complex labor law issues in an in-depth and easy-to-understand manner and providing professional advice from multiple perspectives.
