Banking and Finance
Introduction
Our Expertises
As one of the most dedicated teams in Taiwan, we perform a wide array of services for leading domestic and international banks, securities firms, insurance companies and other financial institutions as well as many other corporate clients. Our practice covers syndication lending, project financing, aircraft financing, ship financing, derivatives, factoring, distressed assets management, consumer banking and regulatory compliance.
Our Experiences
We have counseled on many major transactions such as project finance transactions for power plants, high speed railway and mass rapid transportation systems, the first distressed asset sale, the first merger deal under the Financial Institutions Merger Act, and the establishment of financial holding companies. In response to the growing economic ties between Taiwan and China, we have introduced banking services in China. We counsel clients on secured lending transactions and other transactions that involve Chinese subsidiaries and branches of Taiwanese companies.
Market Leader
We also work closely with lawmakers and regulators regarding regulatory reforms and product innovations in the banking industry. For several decades, we have been the market leader in counseling on banking and financial laws and regulations in Taiwan.
