Jason Chou is a member of Lee and Li's Corporate and Investment Department and his practice areas include corporate and investment, mergers and acquisitions, labor, food and medical, competition laws, as well as energy laws. Chou specializes in the fields of mergers and acquisitions, corporate investment, foreign investment, PRC investment, and permitting process for foreign employment. Over the years, Chou has assisted a significant of well-known domestic and foreign companies in cases involving cross-border mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, and the establishment of subsidiaries and branches by PRC companies in Taiwan, as well as in planning of investment structures, providing related legal advice, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and applying for government approvals and permits. Milestone cases handled by Chou include Kimberly-Clark's acquisition deal, Warner Music's acquisition of Gold Typhoon Music and Dieng Jung Records, and the incorporations of the Public Welfare Lottery and Sports Lottery.
