Mr. Jonas Chu's practice areas cover patent drafting, patent prosecution and maintenance, patent invalidation, patent validity and infringement assessment, and patent litigation. He has represented well-known international companies to deal with patent invalidation, patent litigation, patent infringement assessment, and fair trade issues in Taiwan. He has extensive experience in these practice areas regarding patent right. He had studied intellectual property right and technology management in Germany and in the United States. He has knowledge of European patent prosecution and litigation, US patent practice, and commercialization of intellectual property. His technical experience focuses on electronics and circuits, semiconductors and manufacturing of integrated circuits, packaging of integrated circuits, optics, and materials. He also has extensive experience in handling patent cases in the fields of communication and computer software.
