Upon graduating with a LLB from National Taiwan University, Hsin-Ying Chen passed the Special Examination for Judges and Prosecutors and became the youngest judge at the time. During the 9 years as a judge in both civil and criminal courts as well as the civil execution department, she has accumulated rich experience in judicial adjudication - including establishing the first verdict of invalid election of a legislator due to bribery based on constitutional interpretation - and received scholarship from the Judicial Yuan to pursue LLM at Columbia University. In 1998, Hsin-Ying moved on from her position as judge and started working with her father, renowned lawyer Chih-Hsiung Chen, and undertook multiple corporate cases on management rights, reformation, bankruptcy, and construction, as well as complicated civil, mercantile, and family dispute cases. In 2009, Hsin-Ying joined Yuanta Holdings as the Chief Legal Officer, and held multiple positions in parallel - including Senior Vice President at Yuanta Commercial Bank and Supervisor of both Yuanta Securities and Yuanta AMC. Upon joining Lee & Li's Attorney at Law in 2016, Hsin-Ying led multiple renowned civil, mercantile, and family litigation cases, as well as the concilation, arbitration, and litigation of financial disputes, successfully safeguarding clients' rights. She is an expert in dispute resolution and has abundant experience in consultations regarding trade secret, compliance, contract audit, and corporate law, which enabled trusting relationships with her clients. Hsin-Ying actively participates in public affairs, lectures, and writing. She took part in the 2018 "Corporate Law Full Revision" Project, and is currently a committee member of the Ministry of Justice "Civil Law - General Provision of Obligations Research and Revision Committee." She also held critical positions in the Judicial Yuan Petition and Appeals Committee, Taiwan Bar Association, and Taipei Bar Association. Since 2017, Hsin-Ying and her father Chih-Hsiung Chen worked hand-in-hand on multiple projects including joint lecture series on "Introduction on Practical Claim Cases" at the Taipei Bar Association, and published renowned books such as "Standards on Value Approval of Subject Matter of Action, Court Fees, and Execution Fees", in hopes of advancing with times while embracing knowledge sharing within the industry.
