Winona, a protector and promoter of intangible assets, focuses her practice on the fields of brand protection, trademark filing, intellectual property (patent, trademark, copyright and trade secrets) law, licensing, enforcement, and litigation. She is also familiar with issues in fair trade law; corporate internal fraud investigations; and cybersecurity policy/strategy implementation, crisis management, and dispute resolution. Winona is capable of working with both litigation and non-litigation cases and has represented several famous enterprises during cases involving intellectual property infringement and issues in fair trade law, and has represented enterprises and government agencies during administrative litigation. In February 2015, Winona obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential, one of the top ten certifications in the United States. In 2018, she was presented with one of the "Women in Law Awards 2018" in recognition of her outstanding legal expertise and contribution to the intellectual-property practice area. In January 2021, Winona obtained the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential, which is highly regarded and valued within the anti-fraud profession. Winona also obtained the Information Security Management Systems (ISMS; ISO/IEC 27001:2022) Lead Auditor credential in May 2023 to broaden the horizons of and possibilities for the legal field.
