J. C. Liu, a Counselor, has been with Lee and Li since 1985. J. C. specializes in areas of insurance law, labor law, fair trade law, wills and successions, estate tax planning and filings, and non-profit organizations operations including foundations, associations and private international schools.

With 30 years of experience in handling merger, incorporation, operation and dissolution of local and international insurance companies, brokerage firms and agencies, J. C. advised MetLife on its spin-off in 2003, the first successful spin-off in local and insurance industry, and is recognized by insurance companies for her in-depth understanding of the insurance industry and her perceptive advice. J. C. later also handled the spin-off or merger for AIU, ING, Cigna and Taiwan Life etc. The cases of wills and successions that J. C. has handled almost involved both local citizen and foreigner. In 2002, J. C. assisted in the integration of the British, French and German Schools to form the Taipei European School, the first of its kind worldwide.
