Eugene is an attorney at the firm’s Corporate and Investment Department and is a labor practice group member. He has extensive experience in drafting and reviewing transaction agreements, providing legal consultation and compliance advice in both Chinese and English on matters relating to labor, intellectual property, personal data protection, and general corporate matters.
Eugene also has substantial experience in assisting clients on civil and administrative litigations, such as representing government entities, securities companies, insurance companies, and listed semiconductor manufacturers in wrongful termination, severance pay, and retirement benefits cases.
During his academic career at the University of California, Berkeley, Eugene worked as a research assistant at Berkeley Center for Law and Technology and as an associate editor of the Berkeley Journal of Sports and Entertainment Law.
